Gertrude Anna Lynd, age 100 years of Blue Jay, OH passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH. Born February 26, 1909 in Reading, OH she was the daughter of the late Henry & Elizabeth (Broermann) Apke. She married Freddie Lynd on September 3, 1934 in Kentucky and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1968. She is survived by her son Edward (Sandra) Lynd of Mack, OH & daughter Joyce (late Carl) Parrott of Blue Jay, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Jerry, Michael & Robert Parrott, Karen Simms, Greg & Christopher Lynd and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Apke. Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family with burial in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
