Gladys E. Hein (nee Bowling), age 84 years of Western Hills, OH passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 in Harrison, OH. Born November 26, 1924 in Newport, KY she was the daughter of the late John & Marie (Anderson) Bowling. She was Past President of the Mack Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and retired from Bridgetown Junior School. Mrs. Hein is survived by her children Erwin J. (Judie) Hein, Judith A. (William) Petty, David W. (Ramona) Hein, Daryl E. Hein, Melissa J. (Rick) Zimmer & Pamela S. (Ken) Addison. She will also be missed by her 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Josefina Bowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 4, 2007, Donald Hein; daughter Gina Marie Hein and brother Edward F. Bowling. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 4:00-5:30 followed by services at 5:30pm all at First Presbyterian Church, 115 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030 with Rev. Glenn Baaten officiating. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir or Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
