Grace Martha Rogers, 96 of Batesville, Indiana died August 31, 2018 at St. Andrews in Batesville.

Born June 25, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Stephen John and Irene May (Taylor) Urbanick.  Grace graduated from Lindbloom High School in Chicago.

On September 10, 1949, she married Maurice Rogers at Clearing Bible Church in Chicago.  They met at work In Chicago.  They later moved to Kokomo, Indiana where they lived for 40 years before moving to Batesville.

Her interests included gardening and flowers.  She also loved hosting gatherings with friends.  She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was very involved in her church.  She taught Sunday School and held many backyard Bible clubs.

She is survived by three sons, Keith Rogers of Batesville, Kenneth (Marie) Rogers of Indianapolis, Daniel (JoAnn) Rogers of Batesville, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one brother, Burton Urbanick.

Visitation is 2:00-3:00PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00PM all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sunset Memory Gardens in Kokomo, Indiana.
