Harold Henry Clemenz, age 88 of Greensburg, IN passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. Born August 3, 1926 in Batesville, IN he was the son of the late Harry & Estella (Poske) Clemenz. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII and retired from the US Postal Service in Greensburg in 1989. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg, American Legion, Greensburg Lodge 36 F&AM, and the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine both of Indianapolis. Harold is survived by his wife Ann (Gutapfel) Clemenz; son John Clemenz of Bellville, IL and daughter Jill (John) Borrow of Canyon Lake, TX. He will also be missed by his sister Ruth (Richard) Burton of St. Charles, MO. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy (Bossert) Clemenz in 1983 and his sister Dorothy Minary. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 4-7pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 24, 2015; 1:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Robert McAulay and Pastor Tom Frey officiating. Burial will follow services at St. John Huntersville Cemetery in Batesville with military honors. Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
