Harold "Skip" E. Hacker, age 64 of Indianapolis, IN formerly of New Point, IN passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at his home in Indianapolis. Born September 13, 1947 in New Point, IN he was the son of the late Harold & Bonnie (Demaree) Hacker. The US Marine veteran of Vietnam married Linda Meadows on August 17, 2001 in Williamsburg, KY. He was a member of the New Point Christian Church. Skip is survived by his wife Linda Hacker, children Buddy, Andy & Heather Hacker and step children Lisa Nusbaumer, Michael Pieper, Eric Pieper & Kevin Pieper. He will also be missed by 12 grandchildren, brothers Dan & Harvey Hacker and sister Roxanna Rutledge. Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 10am until time of services at 12 noon all at New Point Christian Church with Minister Mark Vice officiating and military honors at the church. Burial will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o Meyers Funeral Home, 500 W. Pearl St., Batesville, IN 47006.
