86 year old Henry Westerman Jr. of Sunman,IN died Friday, November 25, 2011 at his daughter's home in Napoleon, IN. Born September 1, 1925 he was the son of Henry Sr. and Lulu (Reinhardt) Westerman. Henry was a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Seagram's in Lawrenceburg in 1990 after 43 years. On January 23, 1954 at Adams Lutheran Church he married the former Mary Joyce Kraus, she died January 2, 1998. Henry is survived by 1 daughter Catherine Wagner (Mike) of Napoleon, IN; 4 sons John, Jim (Joyce) and Robert Westerman of Sunman, IN and George Westerman (Cliff Lemon) of Ferndale, MI; 1 sister Luella Meyer (Monroe) of Batesville, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Louis, Robert and William Westerman and 1 sister Leona Davis. Visitation is Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Meyers Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Monday at Adams Lutheran Church. Funeral will be 11 am Monday November 28, 2011 in the Adams Lutheran Church, Batesville with Pastor William Powlen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rites by the Sunman American Legion. Memorials may be given to Adams Church Cemetery or Margaret Mary Hospice.
