Herbert H. Siebert, age 93 years of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Hospitality Hall in Batesville. He was born July 29, 1911 in Batesville. He retired from Union Furniture Co. after over 60 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Batesville United Methodist Church, Batesville Lodge 668 F&AM and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Siebert is survived by his granddaughter Ann Delay Schutte. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arwilda (Delay) Siebert, daughter Judith K. (Wallace) Schutte of Portage, MI and siblings Chester Siebert, Clara Wolf, Easter Hahn and Helen Pullman. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from 9am 11am with F&AM services at 9am followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Larry Marhanka officiating. Burial will be in Batesville United Methodist Cemetery.
