Howard Francis Bischoff, age 68, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home in St. Peter's, IN. Born January 2, 1947 in Batesville, IN he was the son of the late Arthur "Pat" & Frances (Dugan) Bischoff. He was a farmer on his family farm and also retired from Batesville Casket Company as an over-the-road truck driver. The 1964 graduate of Brookville High School and US Air Force veteran married Patti Flodder on November 27, 1982 in Oldenburg, IN. Howard was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, St. Joseph Legion, Franklin Co. Antique Machinery Club. Howard is survived by his wife Patti Bischoff; children Justin (Melissa) Bischoff, Sarah Bischoff, Bradley (Amanda) Bischoff, Brandon (Nancy Narwold) Bischoff, & Kim (Lyle) Nuhring. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Kelly, Brooke, Jordan, Thomas & Joel and great granddaughter Ellie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Patrick Bischoff, his brother Harold Bischoff & his sister Pat Dunbar. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 4-8pm at St. Peter's Church and on Thursday, September 17, 2014 from 9am - 10:30am at the church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will be in St. Peters Church Cemetery with military honors. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research c/o Meyers Funeral Home.
