Ida Belle Wolford, age 85 years of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at The Waters of Batesville. Born June 3, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harm & Flora (Redeker) Ogden. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg, IN; life member of VFW Ladies Aux. 3183 Batesville, Eagles Lodge 1130 Batesville, Odd Fellows of Rebecca in West Port, IN and 50 Home Economics Club in Greensburg, IN. She retired from Mr. Ed's Store in Greensburg and a meat cutter. Mrs. Wolford is survived by her husband Donald Wolford, daughters Barbara (Melvin) Krieger of Batesville, IN; Linda (Brad) Fassnacht of W. Lafayette, IN; son Gary (Karen) Wolford of New Point, IN; grandchildren Ann Narwold, Brian Krieger, Emily Wolford, Keith Budzynski and Brandy Budzynski and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband Merle Laure Johnston and her brothers Dan & Tom Ogden. Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2005 from 5-8pm with VFW Ladies Service at 6:00pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, IN. Memorials are suggested to VFW Ladies Aux. Cancer Fund.
