Jack Emert Maple, age 83, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Waters of Batesville. He was born on October 9, 1931 in Greensburg, Indiana. The U.S. Army Veteran served during the Korean war. Most of his life he enjoyed being outdoors and hunting or fishing. His wife, Mary always said he was a good husband and provider for their family. He will be missed by his wife Mary, daughter Ellen (Robbie) Cowell of Versailles, IN and stepson William Butch' Hacker of Washington State; his grandchildren, M'Kenna, Rhea, Jack, Chris, Nancy & Shandon; and four great grandchildren along with his twin brother Jim (Janet) Maple. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Maple and Dora Freeland Wolfrest, one stepson Mark Adams, brother Dale Maple, sisters Dorothy Strawn, Rita Welter-Carr & Fay Bohman, half-brother Butch Wolfrest & half- sister Cherry Joe Lamping.
