Jacky Marie Brodek, age 76 years of Batesville, IN passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville. Born June 2, 1934 in Stockbridge, WI she was the daughter of the late Erwin & Gladys (Fiedler) Guabatz. Jacky graduated in 1951 from Chilton High School in Chilton, WI & in 1954 from Columbia School of Nursing in Milwaukee. She is a retired RN and did volunteer work at the Hansen Center & Margaret Mary Community Hospital. She was married to Richard Brodek who preceded her in death., attended St. John United Church of Christ and member of the Batesville Beautification League and the Rural Alliance of the Arts. Jacky is survived by her sons Jeff (Ann) Brodek of Racine, WI and Greg (Camelle) Brodek of Hampden, ME; Grandchildren Elizabeth, Andrew, Michael, Samantha, & Gabrielle; brother Lynn Gaubatz of Florida. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Bohnhoff. Friends & Family may attend a memorial gathering on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 3:30 - 5:00pm at her home in Quail Meadows in Batesville, IN.
