Jacqueline "Jackie" Kay Schaefer, 66, of Batesville, passed away October 16, 2022 at Margaret Mary Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1956 in Batesville, Indiana to parents Charles E. and Iris (Vail) Corson.

Jackie enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, and camping. She could often be found crafting and she liked to collect plants. Jackie loved to spend time with her family, friends, her pet rabbit and her dogs.

Jackie is survived by her children, Jessica Mize (Brandon) and Christopher J. Powell; grandchildren, Hailey Shaw and Emery Mize; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Greg Schaefer, and siblings, Jerry Corson and Mary Lou Brandes.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
