James Brickner's Obituary
James "Jim" Brickner, age 70, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at his home in Bright, IN. Born September 5, 1946 in Harrison, OH he was the son of Leo & Minnie (Day) Brickner. Jim worked for the Dearborn County Highway Dept. for 33 years before retiring. He loved to fish, cars, his family and church.
Jim is survived by his wife Judy (Byrd) Brickner, sons Ed Brickner of Harrison, OH and Christopher Brickner of Mt. Carmel, IN; stepdaughters Britney Smith & Robin Smith both of Bright, IN; grandchildren Casey, Christine, Daniel, Brianna, Tyler & Crystal; 3 great grandchildren and siblings Raymond Brickner (Delores) of Owensboro, KY, Judith Horn (Jerald) of Columbus, IN, Carolyn Gabbard (Perry) of Bright, IN and David Brickner of W. Harrison, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Deborah "Debbie" Brickner and brothers Curtis Combs and Robert Brickner.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 10am until time of services at 12 noon at West Harrison Pentecostal Tabernacle with Rev. Wade Hick officiating. Burial will follow services in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
