James Franklin Corbin, age 80 of Greensburg formerly of New Point, IN died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his home. Born August 26, 1931 in Kirkland, IN he was the son of the late Loyd & Flossie (Holt) Corbin. The US Army Veteran of Korea worked at Vohland Nursery and also as a farm hand. He married Mary Evelyn Clark in Frankfort, KY and was a member of the New Point Christian Church. Mr. Corbin is survived by his wife Mary Evelyn Corbin, sons Wesley Corbin, Roger Corbin & Jimmy Corbin and daughters Margaret Willoughby & Rose Corbin. He will also be missed by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and siblings Charles, Donald, Dell, Richard, & Marie Corbin, Helen Anderson & Vina Slee. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Corbin, sister Wanda Fay Corbin & Brother Bennie Corbin. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 10am until time of service at 11am all at New Point Christian Church with Mark Vice officiating. Burial will be in Clarksburg Cemetery.
