James Alan Getz, age 54 of Cleves, OH passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his home. Born October 12, 1958 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late George & Helena (Garrison) Getz. He is a 1977 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School. Mr. Getz is survived by his wife Vickie (Jenkins) Getz of Edgewater, FL; children Brandon Getz of Cleves, OH, Jeremy (Christy) Emerson of Oak Hill, FL, Destiny (Alan) McCullough of Edgewater, FL, Shannon Getz of Edgewater, FL, Shawna Getz of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Lisa Dotson of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by 7 grandchildren and his siblings Charles Robinson of Blue Ash, OH, Shirley (Robert) Neeley of Fairfield, OH, George (Pearl) Getz of Hooven, OH, Joyce (Richard) Davis of Cleves, OH and Ellen (George) Knothe of Cleves, OH. Graveside Services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at New Haven Cemetery in Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating.
