James Edwin Horstman, age 73 years of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Odd Fellows Home in Greensburg, IN. Born Feb. 8, 1935 in Batesville, he was the son of the late Edwin Christ & Alvina (Behr) Horstman. He was employed at Hill-Rom for 40 years as a Supervisor. He married Ina Naomi Ramsey on October 28, 1961 at Batesville United Methodist Church. Mr. Horstman is survived by his wife Ina Naomi Horstman, son Edwin J. Horstman of Batesville, IN; daughters Carolyn L. (Doug) Werner of Miamisburg, OH, Wanda J. (Bobby) Bane of Batesville, IN & Marlene (Harold) Mang of West Chester, OH and grandchildren Kara & Stephanie Bane, Deborah & Ryan Werner, Noah, Lauren & Carter Mang. Visitation will be Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 4-7pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Batesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Marhanka officiating. Burial will be in the Batesville United Methodist Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Batesville United Methodist Church.
