James Odus Prince, age 54 of Batesville passed away on February 21, 2021. The son of Russell Prince and Shirley (McBride) Smith was born on June 6, 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamee Prince; his mother, Shirley Smith; 3 grandchildren; sister, Tammy Coleman; and brothers, Dwayne Prince, Michael Prince and Craig Prince.

James liked fishing and  spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Gray.

His wishes were to be cremated.  There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12:00pm at St. John UCC Cemetery (Huntersville) in Batesville.
