Janet Hope Kersey-Noble, 74, of Batesville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. She was born on February 11, 1948 in Scottsburg, Indiana to her mother, Margaret (Parker) Darringer.

Janet was a member of Pocahontas, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1130 Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary. She retired from Hill-Rom after 35+ years.

She was married to Charles Edward Noble who preceded her in death on April 24, 2021.

Janet is survived by her children, Jennifer Warner, Jerome R. Kersey (Sheree), and Amanda S. Noble; grandchildren, Jerrica Kersey, Jessiny MacNeil, Alex MacNeil, Ronnie Warner, Kurbie Carolina Noble, Charlie Sue Noble, Luka Lewis Noble; siblings, Ken Darringer (Connie) and Edward Darringer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret; her husband, Charles; along with her brothers, Bob and Mark Darringer.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, Indiana. Burial will take place Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Cemetery located at 5713 W. County Rd. 850 N., Middletown, IN 47356.

A lunch will be held following the burial at the Middletown American Legion.
