Jason Riley McDaniel, age 53 of Laurel, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. The son of Robert and Sylvia (Inman) McDaniel was born on September 16, 1970 in Batesville, Indiana.

Jason married Tracy Moody and worked at Batesville Tool & Die. He loved being in the outdoors. Going camping and building bonfires were two of his favorites along with hanging out at the Longbranch Tavern in Laurel. Otherwise, he was a simple man who will be dearly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy McDaniel; children, Kerri Draeving, Cheyenna Moody, Christian Fugate and Savannah McDaniel; grandchildren, Jace, Wyatt, Jackson & Beau Draeving; father, Robert McDaniel; brother Greg (Tonya) McDaniel and brother-in-law, Larry Neeley.

In addition to his mother, Sylvia McDaniel he was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Neeley.

Cremation was chosen. Private services will be held by the family.
