Jeffrey Dale Jordan, age 50 years, of Batesville, IN died suddenly Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. Born September 4, 1959 in Kokomo, IN to Ross and Maryanne (Farley) Jordan, both residing in Kokomo. On April 17, 1986, he married Marilyn Shriver at Butler University. Active in track and the performing arts in high school, Jeff was a designer of many things, like books and covers. His art teacher believed he was one of two students capable of pursuing a career in the field and encouraged him to attend art school. In fact, that teacher still has one of Jeff's paintings hanging on his wall. But when Jeff was a junior in high school he began working in a pharmacy and later decided to follow that path. Jeff graduated from Northwestern High School, Kokomo in 1978 and from Butler University in 1983 with a degree in Pharmacy. Later on the Phi Delta Chi member attended Shenandoah University to achieve his Doctorate in 2003. The day after receiving college graduation, he started as a pharmacist for Hooks in Illinois. Eventually he moved to Batesville working for Rite Aid, CVS and currently for Krogers. He truly loved what he did for a living. Jeff and his wife really liked to travel. Their last trip was to Alaska. He also enjoyed his home on a lake and spending time out on his boat. But most of all he was a family man, loving them all very much. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four daughters, Rachel (Jeff) Dwenger, Sarah Blaum, Abbey Blaum, Emily (Justin) Rowland; one son, Ross (Lori) Jordan III; Five grandchildren, Miles, Riley & Regan Dwenger and Clara & Zoe Peters; and two brothers Steven (Marie) Jordan & Brian (Kathleen) Jordan.
