Jerome L. Salzer, age 72 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Shawneesprings in Harrison, OH. Born July 30, 1939 in Hamilton County, OH he was the son of Harry Jr. & Frances (Vome) Salzer. The US Air Force veteran worked as a security guard for Western Hills Retirement Facility. On November 26, 1983 he married Darlene Janser. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and VFW Duwell Post 7570 in Harrison, OH. Jerome is survived by his wife Darlene Salzer, children Fredericka, Michael & Suzanna Salzer; stepchildren Erica Wilder of Harrison, OH, Robert Timothy (Lynn) Wilder of Kentucky & Patty (Darris) Ely of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and siblings Mike Salzer & Trisha Salzer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Ruby Tamala Wilder and siblings Barbara Salzer & Bo Salzer. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
