Jerry  G. Borne was born into this world on February 9, 1944 to George and Helen (Werner) Borne in Franklin County Indiana. He grew up in Brookville, Indiana. Jerry loved spending time with both sets of Grandparents especially his Grandma Ines (Nowlin) Werner. He has 3 brothers: Doug, Greg and Mike. He was close to each one in different ways.  He has 4 Children who all love him dearly Judi, Jill Lynette, Nick and Holly. And a stepson who loved him, Nicholas.  He graduated from Whitewater High School in 1963.

Jerry was proud to have served his country in the Army. He was a member of Rockdale United Methodist Church. In his younger days, he loved to play baseball and to bowl. He retired from Bayer (formerly Monsanto) then he worked at the Harrison Marketplace in the photo lab before retiring completely. Jerry liked to play cards and most often excused whoever he played with that they had cheated. He loved to joke and tease. You knew he really liked you if he gave you a hard time. He loved to read especially westerns by Louis Lamour which he read over and over and over again.

Left behind are his wife Belinda Borne, his children Judi Lynn Borne, Nick Borne and his wife Pam, step Son Nicholas Batter and his wife Jaidin. His Grandchildren that he loved so much: Bryan Johnson, Allison and Logan Borne, Kayli Borne-Herzner. His Brothers Doug Borne and Mike (Joe) Borne His Niece and Nephew Jennifer Dunbar and Michael (Euylonda) Borne.

He was welcomed into Heaven by Jesus on August 21, 2016 and then surrounded by those who have gone on before us. His beloved Grandparents, his Parents and most especially his Daughters Jill and Holly.

Memorial Services will be Friday August 26, 2016 at 4:00pm at Rockdale United Methodist Church with Pastor Angel Rae officiating.  Memorials are suggested to the family.
