Jerry Lynn Flannery, age 61 of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on August 13, 1953 in Milan, IN to Ben & Nora (Crouch) Flannery. He married Jacqueline Fields in Versailles, IN on January 26, 1990. Jerry loved his job with Poindexter Excavating in Indianapolis as a heavy equipment operator. He loved being outdoors and hunting with his brothers and he enjoyed being with his family. Jerry is survived by his wife Jacqueline Flannery; his children Benny Flannery, James Flannery, Jerry Flannery Jr., Vanessa Crookham, Lara Sams & Elijah Buchanan. He will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren; siblings Danny Flannery, Janet "Sue" Dole, Kathy Amburgey, Mike Flannery, Pam Hunter & Tom Flannery and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Brandon Crookham and brothers Donnie Flannery, James Rickie Flannery and Larry Dale Flannery. Private Services will be held in Kentucky at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to the family to offset medical expenses c/o Meyers Funeral Home.
