Jesse Eugene Brummett Jr., 51, of Sunman passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the son of Jesse Brummett Sr. and Betty Gail (England) Jones.

Jesse loved tinkering with cars and sharing drinks and laughter with friends. His generous spirit, quick wit and zest for life touched everyone he met.

He is survived by his children: Matthew (Donna) Brummett, Cody Brummett, and Sonny Lindauer; mother, Gail Jones; sisters: Peggy Brummett-Kolodzik , Rhonda Cook, and Angela Nunez-Alejandre; step brother, Theodore Thomas; grandchild, Emily Brummett; and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Sr.; step-father, Theo Jones Jr.; cousin, Elizabeth; and his grandparents.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held following at 1:00 pm all at Meyers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
