John E. Wright, age 68, died Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Odd Fellows Home in Greensburg, IN. Born February 9, 1937 in Parke County, IN, he was the son of the late George Irvin & Alice (Fyfe) Wright. Mr. Wright was an ordained minister in the Assembly of God Church. He was a member of the Batesville Assembly of God Church; and had served as honorary chaplain at the Odd Fellows Home in Greensburg, IN. He is survived by a half sister Glenda McCulley of Indianapolis, IN; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, George, William, Marion & Eugene Wright. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 5-7 PM at Meyers Funeral Home, 500 West Pearl Street, Batesville, IN. Graveside Committal Services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005; 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, IN. Memorial Contributions are being directed to Gideons International.
