Joseph P. Darcy, age 70 years, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at his home in Batesville, IN. Born December 6, 1937 in Yonker, NY, he was the son of the late Francis & Harriett (Leonard) Darcy. He retired from the US Marine Corp as Captain after 30+ years. He married Darlene Walterman in Japan on October 12, 1968. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Darcy and brothers Robert & John Darcy. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 10:00am at St. John Huntersville Church Cemetery with military honors. Fr. Carl Hawver will be officiating.
