Karen Hale-Walke, age 59 of Rensselaer, IN formerly of Greensburg, IN passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at IU Health in Lafayette, IN. Born November 27, 1954 in Napoleon, IN and was the daughter of James Eisert & Thais (Semler) Eisert-Koors. The 1972 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School in Osgood, IN was a homemaker and worked for Delta Faucet for 28 years. Karen is survived by her husband Mike Walke; mother Thais Eisert-Koors of Harrison, OH; daughter Kelly Hale of Rensselaer, IN and son Marcus (Angela) Hale of Crawfordsville, IN. She will also be missed by her grandchildren James, Emmy & Lauren and her sister Linda (Rick) Moorman. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her twin sister Kathy (Jerry) Reinhardt of Farmingdale, ME and stepfather Clarence Koors. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2014 from 11am until time of services at 2pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Rev. William Dorrmann officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Batesville. All memorials may be given to the the family.
