Karen Sue Neukam, age 63 of St. Leon, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2016.  She passed away at the home of her daughter, Melissa Donk in Batesville, IN.

Karen was born in Hamilton, OH, daughter of Mary (Alder) Stamper & Tracy Stamper.

The 1971 Batesville High School graduate worked for Hill-Rom and at the Harrison Home Depot in payroll for many years.

Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and a world traveler, living every day to its fullest…a role model for so many.  If you knew Karen, you laughed with her.  If you knew Karen, you felt loved and appreciated.  She will forever be missed by anyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Neukam after 33 years of marriage and her five children Michelle Rauch of Guilford, IN; Melissa Donk of Batesville, IN; Shane Miller of Batesville, IN; Kim Ferketic of Pittsburgh, PA; and Christopher Neukam of Indianapolis, IN.  She was blessed with ten grandchildren; Dylan head and Mariah Head of Guilford, IN; Sawyer Donk, Hannah Donk & Corey Volk of Batesville, IN; Hunter Miller of Brookville, IN; Abby Miller & Chloe Miller of Batesville, IN; Emily Ferketic of Pennsylvania, and Lily Evans of Shelbyville, IN.  She has two great grandchildren; Gabriel Young & Grace Head.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 12 noon until time of services at 3pm all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN.
