Karl Thiele, Jr. age 86 years of Florence, IN passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, OH. Born March 24, 1921 in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Karl & Meta (Gehrig) Thiele. He worked at a mechanic of Caterpillar/Civilian Conservation Corp. in 30's. He was a WWII Navy veteran. Mr. Thiele married Virginia Turner on Sept. 16, 1950 in Norwood, OH. Mr. Thiele is survived by his wife Virginia Thiele, daughter Karen (Steven) Hartjes of Lebanon, OH; son Karl (Kay) Thiele of Harrison, OH; grandchildren Kristin, Adam, Kara, Kelly & Kristofer; sister Shirley Tilliotson of Ft. Wayne, IN & brother Kurt Thiele of Florence, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 4:30-7:30pm followed by services at 7:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Harrison, OH with Pastor Glenn Baaten officiating.
