Kathleen Marie Schrader of Batesville, IN passed away Friday, January 28, 2005 at her home in Batesville. Born November 26, 1938 in Yorkville, IL the daughter of Gerald & Mathilda (Steffen) Pearce. She married Eugene M. Schrader on Sept. 3, 1960 at Adams Lutheran Church in Batesville. She was a licensed Cosmetologist, ran a daycare in her home for many years, was a 44 year member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary unit 271 and life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary unit 3183 and a 1956 graduate of Yorkville, IL High School. Mrs. Schrader is survived by her husband Eugene Schrader; sons Steven (Christine) Schrader of Loveland, OH and SPC David Schrader of US Army in Iraq; daughters Donna (Donald) Steiss of Richardson, TX; Debbie Schrader and Diane Eldridge both of Batesville, IN; grandchildren Laura, Matthew & Kurt Steiss, Alexsa & Danielle Schrader and Christopher Eldridge; brother James Pearce of Sandwich, IL. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her half sister Elnora Burks. Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2005 from 4 8 pm at the Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00am at Adams Lutheran Church with 1 hour visitation before service at church with Pastor William Powlen officiating. Burial will be in Adams Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Adams Lutheran Church, J. Michael Hansen Oncology Center or Hospice of MMCH c/o the funeral home.
