Kenneth Carl Kraut, age 86 years of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at his home. Born September 19, 1921 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Charles J. & Hilda (Fischer) Kraut. He married Mary M. Houillion on May 21, 1947 in Madeira, OH. He was a 1939 graduate of Purcell High School and a 1949 graduate of UC. He was a US Army Veteran and member of St. John the Baptist Dry Ridge & Harrison, Harrison VFW & American Legion & the Catholic Order of Forresters. He was owner of the West Fork Co. Mr. Kraut is survived by his wife Mary M. Kraut, children Mary Margaret Kraut of Bright, IN; Mary Judith Allen of Albany, GA; Mary Patricia Barba of Atlanta, GA; Mary Rebecca Kraut of Versailles, IN; David John Kraut of Harrison, OH & Christopher Scott Kraut of Batesville, IN. He will also be missed by 11 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Charles Kraut & sister Ruth Kraut. Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2008 from 10-11 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM all at St. John the Baptist Church Dry Ridge in Cincinnati, OH with Father Timothy Kallaher officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Dry Ridge Cemetery.
