Kurt Douglas Vinson, age 58 of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born January 11, 1956 he was the son of Floyd & Betty (Peters) Vinson. Mr. Vinson is a US Army Veteran. Kurt is survived by his children Traci Vinson & Kurt Vinson Jr., his grandchildren Jailynne Rae McConnell, Braden Carter McConnell, Meghan Nicole Vinson & Madysen Lynn Vinson. He will also be missed by his siblings Paul Vinson, Tim Vinson, Carol Nunlist, Melissa Hellenbeitel & Andy Semrow. Kurt loved the outdoors, hunting & football and he loved his dog Lacie but most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 11am until time of services at 1pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Military Honors will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hogan Hill Cemetery.
