Larry Grills, age 67 of Batesville, IN passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home. Born June 1, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of Joe & Kansas (Brumley) Grills. The US Army Veteran and 1964 graduate of Sunman High School played basketball for the High School team and was well known for it. He married Gege Lattire on February 13, 1971 in Sunman, IN. He was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Batesville, American Legion Post 337 in Sunman, Indiana Sheriffs Assoc and life time member of the FOP William R. Rayner Lodge 177. Larry is survived by his wife Gege Grills, sons Lonnie Grills & Tom (Julie) Grills and sister Lillian (Sidney Jr.) Powell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Gunter. Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 3-7pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Friday, at 10:30am at the funeral home with Pastors Jeff Brown, Jim Thacker & Randy Thieman officiating. Burial will be in Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles, IN.
