Larry Sarringhaus, 81, of Batesville passed away on June 23, 2024, at UC Medical Center peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in Napoleon, Indiana on September 22, 1942 to Howard and Edna (nee Wirth) Sarringhaus.

Larry graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School in 1961. He married Bertha Huber on November 26, 1966 and she survives. He was employed at Hill-Rom his entire career until retiring in 2003.

Larry is survived by his wife Bertha; children: Julie Sarringhaus, Victor Sarringhaus, Molly (Roger) Stricker, Edie Sarringhaus, Lori Sarringhaus, Mitchell (Nicole Wesley) Sarringhaus; granddaughter, Emma (Lucas Brown) Stricker; great grandchildren: Kallie and Klayton Brown.

He is also survived by his siblings: Gayle Sarringhaus, Darlene Pettit, Dian Krumme, Peggy Shinn, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with Larry's wishes, a private visitation and burial will be held for the family. Memorials can be made to Morris Volunteer Fire Department or St. John's Lutheran Church Napoleon Cemetery Fund by mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
