Laura Elizabeth Mang, age 92 years of Batesville, IN passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Hospitality Hall in Batesville. Born January 18, 1913 in Sunman, IN she was the daughter of the late Edward & Emma (Heuer) Zimmerman. She married Elmer Mang on June 26, 1935 at Hubbles Corner. She was a homemaker on the family farm for over 40 years and member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Batesville. Mrs. Mang is survived by her children Mary Ann Klingworth of Oldenburg, IN; Paul Mang Sr. of Greensburg, IN and Leroy Mang of Batesville, IN; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Eileen Zimmerman of Lawrenceburg, IN and Evelyn Beneker of Brookville, IN; and brothers Edward Zimmerman of Cincinnati, OH; Ralph Zimmerman of Batesville, IN and Rev. Earl Zimmerman of Rothschild, WS. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sisters Anna Sweeney and Mabel Beneker and brother Carl Zimmerman. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2005 from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 6,2 006 at 2:00pm all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Rev. Juanita Connerley officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Batesville, IN. Memorials are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ (Huntersville) c/o the funeral home.
