Leona Elizabeth Davis, age 86 years of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville. Born April 30, 1921 in Lookout, IN she was the daughter of the late Henry & Lulu (Rhienhart) Westerman. She married Harvey Davis on Nov. 27, 1941 at Adams Church. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Crossroads) and the church ladies aid. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter Carolyn Cornett of Batesville, IN, sons Donald Davis of Batesville, IN & Kenneth Davis of Batesville, IN, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister Luella Meyer of Batesville, IN & brother Henry Westerman of Sunman, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Davis, sister Viola Westerman, brother William, Louis & Robert Westerman. Visitation will be Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church (Crossroads) with Rev. Robin Owen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Cemetery Fund.
