Lloyd Wayne Cooper, age 89 years of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Batesville. Born March 8, 1917 in Manchester, IN he was the son of the late Roy & Bertha (Mason) Cooper. He married Mary Etta Williamson on May 6, 1944 in Batesville. He was a member of Batesville United Methodist Church and retired from Hill-Rom in 1982. Mr. Cooper is survived by his son Robert Cooper of Batesville, grandchildren Tim, Tony & Greg Cooper; 7 great grandchildren; brother Bill Cooper of Indianapolis, IN & sister June Pillow of Indianapolis, IN and nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Etta Cooper and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 9-11 AM followed by services at 11:00 AM all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Charles Flory officiating. Burial will be in New Craven Cemetery in Milan, IN. Memorials are suggested to Batesville Fire Dept. or Rescue 10.
