Lloyd Thomas Norman Sr., age 73 of Milan, IN passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. The son of Charles & Margaret (Hunter) Norman was born on March 13, 1940 in Batesville. Lloyd served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and is a member of the American Legion Post 235 in Milan. He married Celesta Block on June 11, 1966 in Elrod, IN. Lloyd retired from Pri-Pak in Greendale, IN. Lloyd is survived by his wife Celesta Norman and his children Lloyd (Melissa) Norman Jr., Charles Norman, Cynthia (Mike) Richmond, Barbara (Rick) Roberts, Caroline Norman and Mary (James) Stout. He will also be missed by his 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his sister Shirley Henson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister & 4 brothers. Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 11am until time of services at 2pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Burial will follow in the Batesville United Methodist Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
