Louis H. Jobst, age 91 years of Batesville, IN passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, IN. Born April 17, 1914 in Ripley County, IN and was the son the late Fred & Margaret (Einhaus) Jobst. He retired from Steinkamp and Co. as a carpenter. He married Ruth Siebert on September 16, 1937 in Napoleon, IN. She preceded him in death on March 15, 1990. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads. Mr. Jobst is survived by his daughter Pixie (Jack) Smith of Batesville, IN; granddaughter Dana Smith and brother Robert Jobst of Batesville, IN. In addition to his parents and wife Ruth Jobst, he was preceded in death by his brothers Irvin, John and Carl Jobst and sisters Leona Brebberman, Florence Tekulve and Esther Schwendenmann. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 17, 2005; 7:00PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. Memorials are suggested to Hospitality Hall or St. Paul Church.
