Mabel C. Wonning, age 85 years of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004 at The Waters of Batesville. Born May 12, 1919 in Batesville the daughter of Edward & Lena (Cortzer) Huneke. She married James Wonning at Fink's Church near Napoleon, IN on August 29, 1940. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads. Mrs. Wonning is survived by her husband James Wonning, sons Gary Wonning of Sarasota, FL and Paul Wonning of Batesville, IN; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Emma Wessel. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 29, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. Visitation will be Thurs. from 6-8 PM at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Burial will be in St. Paul Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
