Marian Helena Stirn-House, age 86 of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Batesville, IN passed away June 1, 2016 in Indianapolis.  Born July 11, 1929 in Franklin Co, IN she was the daughter of Albert & Cora (Becker) Belter.

Marian was a 1947 graduate of Batesville High School.  She loved growing up on a farm and was always eager to tell a childhood story.  She was so very proud of her family.  She had a passion for her flowers and gardening which she wanted to share with everyone.  Her family, friends and neighbors were a joy to her and she was always concerned about their well-being.  She would start a conversation with anyone who crossed her path.

Marian is survived by her son Steve Stirn (Brenda), her daughter Barbara Lehmkuhl (Rick), her granddaughters Sara Schulz (Dustin) & Amanda Stirn.  She will also be missed by her sister Lois Magee, and her brother Robert Belter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Maynard House.  Marian will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Private graveside services will be held at St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery.
