Marlys Ann Peterson, 83, of Greensburg, passed away April 6, 2022. She was born August 12, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Stephen and Ethel Prybylski.

Marlys worked in Chicago for many years as a book keeper. The avid Chicago Cubs fan was a quiet and pleasant person who had many friends. Marlys went on several trips with her good friends, Carolyn and Bob Cornett. She greatly cherished her memories of those trips.

After retiring, Marlys moved to Greensburg, Indiana and eventually called it home.

Marlys is survived by her siblings, Hank, Bob, and Dorothy Scow.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard Peterson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Roger, Steven, Richard, Michael, Gerald, and Edward.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Paul (Crossroads) Cemetery in Batesville.
