Martha Henrietta Elizabeth Dieckmann (nee Westerman), age 89 of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Evergreen Retirement Center in Cincinnati, OH. Born August 15, 1915 in Batesville the daughter of Walter & Clara (Narwold) Westerman. She was a member of the Order Eastern Star Chapter 348 Batesville, the F.O.P. and St. John United Church of Christ. Mrs. Dieckmann is survived by her daughter Glenda (Roger) Schorr of Cincinnati, OH; granddaughter Elizabeth Schorr and grandson Rolf Schorr both of Cincinnati, OH; great grandchildren Kylie & Christopher Schorr and sister Viola Gutzwiller of Mesa, AZ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter W. Dieckmann on July 10, 1986; son Donald Dieckmann and brother Wallace Westerman. Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2005 from 9 10:30 A.M. at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Batesville with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
