Maurice Lloyd Miller Jr., age 52 of Bloomington, IN and formerly of Batesville, IN, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at IU Health Center in Bloomington. The son of Maurice Sr. and Velma (Meadows) Miller was born on November 6, 1962 in Batesville, IN. The 1981 Batesville High School graduate was a very talented artist. Maurice just loved being outdoors and he especially enjoyed fishing. Maurice is survived by his parents Maurice Sr. & Velma Miller, of Batesville; his children, Jessica Pierce, Kasey Graf, Natalie Wolfe, Karen Manderson, Joshua Miller, C.L., and Jordan Miller-Derickson; 8 grandchildren; along with his siblings, Jerry (Cecilia) Miller, Michael (Tonya) Miller, Melanie (Bill) Roell and Fred (Cheryl) Miller. He was preceded in death by one daughter Brooklyn Miller. Visitation is 5-7pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 with a Memorial Service immediately following at 7pm all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. With burial at a later time in South Park Cemetery, Greensburg, IN. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home.
