Mildred Fry, age 77, formerly of Batesville, passed away on May 2, 2021 in Brodhead, Kentucky.  The daughter of Herbert & Allie (Lykins) Stacy was born on February 28, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mildred graduated in 1963 from Lakota High School in Cincinnati.   She worked for a few years at Reading Rock in Cincinnati before working for McPhersons in Sunman as a computer operator, where she eventually retired from in 1998. She was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Batesville and Batesville Eagles Aerie #1130.

She is survived by her step sons, Ed and Kenny Darringer and Rick Fry; her brother, Charles Stacy; and niece, Donna Dumford along with several step grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph D. Harper, Harvey Joe Darringer and Clifford Fry; siblings, Burl Stacy, Drexall Stacy, Randall Lee Stacy and Mareda Ann Pruitt; and step sons Mark and Robert Darringer.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 2-3pm followed by 3:00pm funeral services all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial to follow at St. John's UCC Cemetery.
