Mildred Marie Mauk, age 84 years of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, February 26, 2006 in Greensburg, IN. Born January 10, 1922 in McRoberts, KY she was the daughter of William Harrison & Ollie (Branham) Saylers. She married Winford Norman Mauk Sr. on January 27, 1947 in Whitesburg, KY. Mrs. Mauk is survived by her daughters Venora Walterman of Batesville, IN and Donna Drockelman of Lookout, IN; sons Winford Mauk, Jr. of Greensburg, IN; Jerry Mauk of Batesville, IN and Kenneth Mauk of Plainfield, IN; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and brother Henry Saylers of Louisville, KY. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 9-11 am followed by services at 11:00 am all at Batesville Assembly of God with Pastor Mike Pyle and Pastor Mike Cunnington officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery in Batesville, IN. Memorials are suggested to the Heritage House Nursing Home or Alzheimer's Assoc.
