Mildred Niles, age 103 of Batesville, IN formerly of W. Harrison, IN passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville. Born April 23, 1912 in Chilisaw County, IA she was the daughter of the late John & Margaret (Giefer) Roethler. She was a member of St. Teresa Benedicta Church in Bright, IN and a member of the AM Vets of Iowa Auxiliary. Mildred is survived by her children Carol (Michael) McMahon of W. Harrison, IN and James (Theresa) Niles of Waco, TX. She will also be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Niles, her daughter Joyce Lamontagne and 14 brothers and sisters. Services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Church in Bright, IN at 10:00am with Fr. Randy Sommers officiating.
