Myrtle Modell Reatherford, age 101 of Harrison, OH passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her home. Born April 15, 1911 in Clay County, KY she was the daughter of Walter & Minnie Bell (Hudson) Peters. She married Albert Reatherford on June 5, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, IN and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrison, OH. Myrtle is survived by her children Norma (Andrew) Durham of College Corner, Nancy Harrison of Harrison, OH, Beatrice (Glenn) Collett of Cleves, OH, Linda Dearwester of Connersville, IN, Manford (Faye) Reatherford of Hamilton, OH, Milo Reatherford of Harrison, OH, Woodford Reatherford of Harrison, OH, Albert (Doris) Reatherford Jr. of Cincinnati, OH & Steve (Lynn) Reatherford of Osgood, IN. She will also be missed by her sister Irene Willoughby of Collen, AL, 52 grandchildren, many great grandchildren & several great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Clarence Reatherford, Walter Reatherford & William (Alvina) Reatherford of W. Harrison, OH, 6 grandchildren and siblings Lula Davidson, Laura Frye, Emma Allen, Elizabeth Stamper, Denver, Susan, Eva, Elsie, Dora & Roy Peters. Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2012 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at First Baptist Church in Harrison, OH with Bro. Ronnie Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH. Memorials are suggested to VITAS Hospice or First Baptist Church c/o the funeral home.
