Naomi Marie (Carpenter) Noel, 95, passed on to her reward on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Harrison, OH surrounded by her children. She was born on February 14, 1911 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Jesse and Emma Carpenter. She was a factory worker, homemaker, friend, beloved mother and grandmother. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Elwood Wallace Noel, son Melvin Lee Noel, 2 grandchildren & siblings Enoch, Harry, Levi & Ralph Carpenter, Susie Graham, Martha Meyer, Mary Hollin & an infant sister. Naomi Noel is survived by her Children: Emogene (George) Hollin of Hamilton, Ohio; Shirley (Richard) Matthews of Washington Court House, Ohio; Gary (Cindy) Noel of West Harrison, Indiana; George (Lynda) Noel of Harrison, Ohio. Visitation will be Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 noon all at Church of Christ at Harrison in Harrison, OH with Pastor Russell Lieb officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to Church of Christ at Harrison or Hospice of Cincinnati.
