Nellie Mae Urbie, age 81 of Rising Sun, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Margaret Mary Health, Batesville.  The daughter of Esthel & Mae (nee: Reese) Gabbard was born on March 13, 1936. Nellie loved the Lord and served many years as a preacher.

She is survived by her son Randy Hawkins of West Harrison, IN, Timmy Caldwell of Hockinghills, OH; 7 grand children, 7 great grandchildren; and one brother Esthel Gabbard Jr. of Columbus, IN.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jay Uribe, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Hawkins and sister Juanita Roell.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
